Discover, Learn, Take Action - Day 0
The initial phase revolves around discovery, where users explore the features and capabilities of Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
Next comes the learning phase, where users gain insights into the purpose and benefits of the scenarios.
Finally, users are empowered to take action, implementing the necessary steps to set up their environment.
Step 1  Checks Prerequisites and explains the purpose of the scenario:
The guided scenario begins with an introduction explaining the purpose of the scenario and any prerequisites required to complete the setup. At this point, your admin permissions are checked to verify you have all the necessary privileges to complete the scenario.
Step 2: Name Your Policy for Easy Organization
Prefix for Grouping: Start your name with a prefix that helps you group similar policies together. This makes it easier to find and manage policies that apply to certain types of apps or users.
Meaningful Description: Add a description that briefly explains the policy's purpose, like "Sales managers-Confidential data protection". This clarifies the policy's function at a glance.
Preview as You Type: As you enter the prefix and description, a preview shows the resources the scenario creates within your chosen group, giving you a clear understanding of its impact.
Step 3: Secure Office apps for (iOS/iPad & Android)
This step lets you choose which Office apps on your users' mobile devices will have an extra layer of protection. This ensures secure access to company data and helps prevent information leaks
Pre-selected Apps: We've chosen some common Office apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint that often handle sensitive information.
Customize your list:
  * Add apps: Click "Select public apps" from the toolbar to select additional apps from your list.
  * Remove apps: Click  "Remove" to remove apps from your list.
Frequent Questions: Have questions about specific apps or settings? Click the hyperlinked questions for detailed information without leaving the wizard. This keeps everything in one place for your convenience.
Step 4 Configurations:
This step focuses on the basic settings, saving you time and ensuring a successful setup with Microsoft's recommended configurations for optimal security and performance. Advanced options are available if you need further customization later.
Step 5 Assignments:
App protection is assigned to users, and not devices, so your corporate data will be secure regardless of the device used and its enrollment status.
Review + deploy:
Double-check your choices: Take a quick glance at your selected settings to ensure they match your needs. Feeling confident? Click "Deploy" to put your plan into action!
Post-create report:
Once deployed, you'll see a confirmation screen and receive an email with the configuration details for future reference. You can also access these details directly from the "Resources" section, along with helpful links and documentation.
  * Known delivery delays: If there's a known delay in deploying your configuration, a clear banner will inform you here.
Need to revisit later? No worries, the summary won't disappear upon closing the wizard. You can always access it again within the email we'll send you.
